16 and Pregnant: Jordan Howard (Season 4)

What Happened: Jordan is living with her boyfriend, Tyler and his parents because of her pregnancy. Jordan's mom Kelly doesn't like Jordan's boyfriend Tyler, and it's making it hard on Jordan because she wants Tyler to be a part of their baby's life and her mom doesn't think he will be. Tyler's parents are very supportive and would like it if Jordan moved in with them and raised the baby there. Jordan's mom doesn't like Tyler at all because he's dirty and disrespectful. Since Jordan wants to stay with Tyler they go to her house while her mom is gone and take the crib that Tyler bought for the baby. After her mom gets home and sees that the crib is gone, she calls Jordan and leaves a very nasty message. Then she calls back and tells Jordan she wants to talk. So Jordan meets her along with Tyler and she tells them that she wants to see Jordan and the baby, and that she wants to help her. So Jordan decides to move back in, and that leaves Tyler hurt. So when she goes into labor, he is by her side and helps her through it. When Jordan is ready to go home from the hospital Tyler ends up going home and Jordan and her mother are frustrated with him because Jordan really needed and wanted his help. Tyler's parents visit Jordan, and baby Chase and explain to Jordan why Tyler hasn't gone over and why he's upset. When Tyler finally does come over he and Jordan and her brother's get into an argument, and her brothers end up going after him and Kelly has to stop them. Jordan is upset that Tyler doesn't seem to want to be in there lives.
What I Think:
I think that Jordan's mom could have at least given Tyler a chance and let him visit Jordan. If she had been more accepting about Tyler, Jordan wouldn't have left and went to his house along with all the baby's things. i also think that Tyler should have stepped up like he said he would and I was disappointed when he didn't stay at Jordan's house after the baby was born but I also kind of understand why which is that for the nine months that she was pregnant, Jordan's mom kept saying things like he wasn't going to bring able to raise a black baby and that she didn't like him. So he didn't feel welcome at Jordan's house. Hopefully things work out and I wish them through best.
