16 and Pregnant: Alexandria Sekella (Season 4)

What Happened: Before Alex got pregnant she was a dancer, and helped teach kids to dance. Alex's boyfriend, Matt is always getting in trouble. Matt has a serious drug problem and Alex considers adoption. Matt thinks that putting up their daughter for adoption would be best because they aren't ready to be parents. Alex wants to keep their baby but it isn't easy and Matt is never around because he's always taking off and disappearing. As Alex draws closer to her due date she still can't make a decision. Alex's friends parents want to adopt and ask Alex if they can adopt her baby and Alex likes the idea of someone she knows adopt her baby instead of someone she doesn't. After Alex has baby Arabella she can't give her up, and when she tells her friends parents, they are sad but they've helped Alex get a new place, since she's not allowed to move back home with her baby. But a few weeks later Alex's mom decides to let her come back home, so she can have the help of her family. Alex's family throws her a welcome home/baby shower, but it gets interrupted when the woman Alex was living with needs the rent money, that Alex doesn't have, and threatens to throw out her things. So Alex and her mom and a few family members go over there and pick up her things. Alex gets frustrated when she needs Matt to watch Arabella so she can go to work but he doesn't show up and Alex misses work. When Matt comes over a few days later, and Alex confronts him about him not showing up and they get into an argument. Alex asks him if he wants to be a part of Arabella's life because he is her father. 
What I Think: I think that Matt should try to be a part of Arabella's life after he's changed, and he can be the parents Alex wants him to be and that Arabella needs. Alex should just leave him and let him do what he needs to do to change and grow up.

16 and Pregnant: Lindsey Harrison (Season 4)

What Happened: After Lindsey found out she was pregnant, her boyfriend Forrest broke up with her because he thought she got pregnant to tie him down. Lindsey's mother and Forrest wanted her to get an abortion so she can do what she wants in life. A few months after she told Forrest they got back together. Lindsey is working at a fast food place so they have money for daughter. Forest isn't working and Lindsey is upset that she has to and Forrest doesn't. Lindsey brings it up but his mother says she doesn't want him working, and going to school and take care of a baby. Lindsey and Forrest get into a fight and a day later Lindsey has to go to the hospital because she may have the baby early. She tries to call Forrest but he doesn't answer any of her calls or text messages, and doesn't show up to the hospital.   A few weeks later Lindsey goes into labor and she has a gets in an argument about signing the hospital papers, and leaves. Lindsey, and her daughter Aniyah go back to Forrest's house. Forrest is still going to school and Lindsey stays home with the baby and she is very lonely. Lindsey fixes things with her mother, and they go to the gym and talk to Lindsey's trainer, and she tells him about Aniyah. She also wants to know if she can go back and train again and hopefully become and professional cage fighter.

What I Think: I think that Forrest should have gotten a job. I mean he could have juggled school a job and taking care of his daughter because he put himself in that situation and he has to step up, not only in child care but financially.

16 and Pregnant: Briana DeJesus (Season 4)

What Happened: Briana and her boyfriend Devoin just ended their relationship and Briana wants to work it out with him because she loves him and she's having his baby. Since they've broken up, Devoin has stopped talking to her, doesn't have a job to help support the baby or seem to have any interest in becoming a father. Briana meets up with Devoin to discuss the baby. Briana has already chosen a name for their baby and  Devoin asks about it but doesn't seem to really care. Briana tells him that the last name is more important than the first name and that he has to earn it. As Briana draws closer to her due date Devoin shows no interest in helping with baby, Nova. Devoin shows up for Nova's birth but leaves to go play basketball with his friends and leaves Briana disappointed again. Since Devoin left Briana to go hang out with his friend she didn't give Nova his last name. Devoin doesn't help Briana take care of Nova and when he does show up he just plays around on his phone. Briana is sick of giving Devoin chance after chance and only getting disappointed in the end.
What I Think: I think that Devoin has to get off his butt and help Briana with Their daughter. He helped make her so he should help take care of her. Briana is doing a good job with taking care of her daughter  and going to school.
